As an AI Engineer (CV) you will be part of our AI engineering team where you will develop cutting-edge computer vision AI systems. Your expertise in computer vision techniques, generative models, and AI research will guide our efforts in creating groundbreaking products and services. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI strategy and products and fostering a culture of innovation.
The ideal candidate is excited to be an early member of the engineering team of a well-funded startup. You’ll have autonomy to make decisions and quickly build products from the ground up. You’ll play a significant role in designing, developing and operating CV algorithms, Machine Learning models, including CNNs and Transformers, and pipelines at scale, for both batch and real-time use cases.
• Design and develop performant algorithms and AI models, specializing in production-level AI and leveraging advanced computer vision techniques
• Engage in cutting-edge AI research to push the boundaries of what is possible with both CNN/Transformer and generative models
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our products and services, optimizing for technical and cost performance, and aligning with user needs
• Apply in-depth technical knowledge to solve complex problems in AI, driving innovation in our product
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies, evaluating and adopting new tools and frameworks as they are released
• Ensure the responsible use of AI within projects, advocating for ethical practices, including transparency, diversity, and privacy
• 4+ years in software development in a fast-paced tech environment
• 4+ years of experience building Machine Learning/Computer Vision models in production settings. Your role is not just the research and experimentation, but also to deploy models to a production environment.
• You’re extremely comfortable with Python and deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch / Keras/Tensorflow (strong requirement)
• Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms and techniques (computer vision models, GANs, etc.)
• Strong understanding of LLMs and Diffusion models (Stable Diffusion, Llama, Mistral, LoRAs, fine-tuning, etc.)
• Able to experiment and stand-up existing open source models in production systems
• Able to curate synthetic data.• Able to optimize ML models for hardware (GPU/CPU optimization, etc.)
• A strong problem-solver with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges, providing innovative solutions and contributing to the product development process
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
